Design, manufacture and characteristics of Cdlf pump

The vertical multi-stage centrifugal pump, also known as the Cdlf vertical multi-stage centrifugal pump, is a non-self-priming pump designed and manufactured by integrating advanced technologies from both domestic and international sources. It features standard vertical motors and quick-installation mechanical seals, making it easy to replace. The pump’s flow passages are made of stainless steel (304/316), suitable for mildly corrosive media. Since its market launch, the Cdlf pump has been recognized for its high efficiency, energy savings, reliable quality, and broad application range. This pump boasts a compact design, small size, light weight, low noise, significant energy-saving effects, and ease of maintenance. It uses standard vertical motors and quick-installation mechanical seals, which make replacement very convenient and suitable for mildly corrosive media.

The Cdlf pump is designed with a vertical structure, occupying minimal space and making it ideal for installations in confined spaces. The inlet and outlet are aligned on the same horizontal line, simplifying pipeline layout. The Cdlf pump achieves high head through multiple centrifugal impellers connected in series, with the number of stages customizable to reach a maximum head of over 200 meters. The pump’s main components, including the impellers, pump body, and shaft, are made from 304 or 316 stainless steel, which provides excellent corrosion resistance, making it suitable for clean or mildly corrosive liquids.

The Cdlf pump operates on the principle that when the motor drives the shaft and impeller to rotate at high speed, the liquid inside the impeller is thrown outwards by centrifugal force from the center of the impeller along the flow channels between the blades. The liquid, influenced by the blades, experiences simultaneous increases in pressure and velocity. It then flows through the guide shell’s flow channels to the next stage of the impeller. This process continues, with the liquid passing through all stages of impellers and guide shells, gradually increasing its pressure energy. By stacking each impeller in sequence, a specific head is achieved.

Cdlf pump is preferred for clean liquid transportation due to its stainless steel corrosion resistance, high head, low noise and easy maintenance. It is especially suitable for strict conditions requiring hygiene, efficiency or space. Attention should be paid to the matching of medium characteristics with head and flow when selecting the pump.
