Introduction to multi-stage pump

The CDL multi-stage pump is a vertical single-suction, multi-stage segmented centrifugal pump designed for various applications. It is primarily used in urban water supply, high-rise building drainage, fire protection systems, and hydraulic engineering, suitable for conveying clear water or similar liquids at temperatures up to 80℃. The pump features a vertical design, which reduces the footprint and enhances energy efficiency. Its core components include the suction section, intermediate section, discharge section, and a closed impeller. The pump body is directly connected to the motor via a coupling, with the rotor supported by a balance drum and angular contact ring bearings to handle axial forces. The shaft seal can be either a packing or mechanical seal, made of stainless steel. During operation, the pump operates at low speeds with no leakage, and the motor drive end rotates counterclockwise, making it adaptable to altitude changes and environmental temperatures.

Multi-stage pump is a common vertical multi-stage pump, mainly used in urban water supply, water conservancy projects, fire protection projects, etc. This type of multi-stage pump covers a small area, efficient and energy-saving. It is used to transport clear water substances or other liquids with chemical properties similar to clear water, and the temperature of the transported medium should not exceed 80℃.
