Pipeline centrifugal water pump is a common fluid transportation equipment. The working principle of a pipeline centrifugal water pump is based on the action of centrifugal force. When the pump is started, the blades force the fluid to rotate, and the fluid is thrown towards the outer edge of the impeller to obtain velocity energy under the action of centrifugal force. A low-pressure zone is formed at the center of the impeller, which attracts the fluid from the inlet pipeline into the impeller. After passing through the pump casing, the flow velocity decreases, and the pressure energy is converted into potential energy, which is discharged from the outlet pipeline. The structural characteristics of pipeline centrifugal pumps are mostly vertical structures, adopting compact designs, with the same inlet and outlet diameters and on the same centerline. They can be directly installed on pipelines like valves, occupying a small area and facilitating pipeline layout and installation. The pump and motor are coaxial or connected by a coupling, ensuring smooth operation and low noise.
The performance parameters of pipeline centrifugal pumps mainly include flow rate, head, speed, efficiency, cavitation margin, etc. Flow rate represents the volume of fluid transported per unit time, head is the energy gain obtained by the fluid after passing through the pump, speed affects the performance of the pump, efficiency measures the energy consumption of the pump, and cavitation allowance prevents the pump from experiencing cavitation. Pipeline centrifugal pumps can be divided into single-stage pumps and multi-stage pumps according to the number of working impellers, and can be divided into coaxial and non coaxial connections according to the connection method between the pump and the motor.
Pipeline centrifugal pumps are widely used in industrial fields, such as transporting special fluids in industries such as petrochemicals and pharmaceuticals. In agricultural irrigation, they pump water to fields. In municipal fields, they are used in urban water supply and drainage systems, and also provide guarantees for stable system operation in fields such as electricity and ships.
