The function and description of pipeline centrifugal pump

pipeline centrifugal pump is a common fluid conveying device, primarily used to transport liquids from one location to another or to provide pressure for overcoming pipeline resistance and lifting height, among other tasks. It meets various fluid conveying needs in industrial production and daily life. The  pipeline centrifugal pump boasts advantages such as compact structure, easy installation, stable operation, low noise, high efficiency, and a wide range of performance. Depending on different usage requirements, the pump can be adjusted by changing parameters like impeller diameter and speed to meet various flow rates and head demands. In the industrial sector, it is widely used in industries such as chemical, petroleum, pharmaceutical, and food processing, for conveying both corrosive and non-corrosive liquids. In the construction industry, it is commonly used in water supply and drainage systems, fire protection systems, and more. In agriculture, it can be applied to irrigation, drainage, and wastewater treatment.

Differential  pipeline centrifugal pump are typically composed of key components such as the impeller, pump shaft, pump casing, sealing device, and bearings. The impeller is the core component, performing work on the liquid through rotation to impart energy. The pump casing houses the impeller and guides the flow of the liquid, while the sealing device prevents leakage to ensure the proper operation of the pump.
The working principle of a  pipeline centrifugal pump is that it can deliver water due to the effect of centrifugal force. Before the pump starts, the pump body and suction pipe must be filled with water to create a vacuum state. When the impeller rotates rapidly, the blades cause the water to spin quickly. The rotating water is thrown out from the impeller under the influence of centrifugal force. After the water inside the pump is thrown out, a vacuum area forms at the center of the impeller. Under the action of atmospheric pressure (or water pressure), the water from the source is pressed through the pipeline into the suction pipe. This cycle allows for continuous water extraction.

The  pipeline centrifugal pump has many advantages, such as stable operation, absolute concentricity of the pump shaft and excellent dynamic and static balance of the impeller, which ensure stable operation without vibration and low noise. The pump is supported by two low-noise bearings, which run smoothly. Except for the weak sound of the motor, there is basically no noise, and it is easy to maintain and occupies less space.
